This Tee is a tribute to my first job in the surf industry. When I left school, I went to work for Peter Troy and David “Harpo” Hutchison at the Kevin Platt factory at Sunshine Beach near Noosa. Peter secured the fin foiling contract from Multi Fin Systems in Byron run by Charles. Each week boxes of fins cut to shape would arrive. My job was to foil the fin blanks ready for sale. Reckon I would’ve foiled thousands before ,moving on to ding fixing and sanding in the factory. The address on the Tee print is the original factory address and the telephone number is actually another tribute being the original Surfratz Surfwear number I set up with Telecom Australia when I started the brand.
